Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 PM in ICS 318B (ICSpace)

What is PANDA?

PANDA (Programming AND Algorithms) is a special interest group of ACM Mānoa dedicated to studying and applying algorithms. We aim to help students develop the algorithmic problem-solving skills needed to succeed in the field of computer science.

We hold weekly meetings that involves our mentors (Big Pandas) guiding students at various levels of programming experience to solve algorithmic problems similar to ones given in technical interviews.

Who is welcome?

Anyone who is interested is welcome to join and attend! No pressure if you are unable to attend certain meetings.

How to join?

Our meetings are currently hosted in person in the ICSpace located in POST 318B. Join the PANDA discord via the following link https://discord.gg/naDnBZ5 to keep updated about our meetings!

How can I become an Officer?

We are searching for students who have taken or currently taking ICS 311 Algorithms. Most importantly people who have participated in PANDA.

If you are interested reach out to one of the Big Pandas, or if one of our Big Pandas notice that you are performing well, then we may reach out to you to become a Big Panda in training!
